Detroit performer/singer Sky Covington originally photographed for the Metro Times’ Arts Issue…
Sky is the type of person that actually enjoys being photographed. It took little convincing to have her stand on picnic tables, leer into the camera and strike poses from her upcoming performace.
I didn’t have a flash at the time, but luckily the backyard shade provided for great lighting — the only issue was shifting the white plastic patio furniture out of the frame.
